Gite “Maison du Chateau Siran”

Located in the pretty village of Siran , Maison du Chateau is a perfect holiday home for couples and families alike. Sat in the grounds of Siran Chateau this 3 bedroom Gite combines the best of a traditional french house with all the modern amenities you need to make your holiday perfect.

There are 3 bedrooms , 1master suite with en-suite and private lounge, a double room and a twin/double room. There is a family bathroom and 2 seperate toilets as well. There is a well equiped and modern kitchen which opens out onto a private enclosed patio area. The large lounge is cool in summer and has a lovely wood burner for the winter months.

The village of Siran is well blessed with amenities with a small mini-market, boulangerie and a great bar/restauarant all within a 2 minute walk of the house, the "Cave" also is open in the summer for drinks, food and live music and is less than a 5 minute walk. The area surrounding Siran has an abundancy of things to do , with great vineyards, caves, walks, bike rides and the canal du midi all within a 15 minute drive. Maison du Chateau is the perfect base for a relaxing fun filled holiday in this beautiful area of France.

We had a great time at Villa Limonade!! The location is perfect, Olonzac has a great choice of bars and restaurants and a colourful local market on a Tuesday. It's also surrounded by pretty wine producing villages, so wine tasting almost obligatory (happily... as it is delicious), vineyards everywhere! The Canal du Midi and its villages are within a very short drive. The Cite of Carcassonne (UNESCO site), Narbonne, Beziers are also within an easy drive away. Linda & Tony are great hosts, extremely personable and attentive, and dinner at the Villa Limonade should not be missed - delicious!!

Tous les ingrédients étaient réunis pour que notre séjour soit agréable. Nos hôtes chaleureux attentifs et disponible nous ont fait passer des moments formidables. découverte de la région en jaguar très agréable, initiation a l'oenologie convivial et une table d'hôte sympathique ou à l'unanimité nos papilles étaient en ébullition de saveurs. Bref qu'une chose à dire la villa limonade est un havre de paix mais elle ne le serai sans Linda et Tony

Bedrooms

Maison du Chateau has 3 bedrooms. The first is the Master Suite on the top floor , this consists of a large bedroom with kingsize bed , a large en-suite with walk in shower and his/her sinks, adjacent to the bedroom area is a seperate lounge area. Bedroom 2 is on the first floor and has a standard double bed, Bedroom 3 is on the same floor and can be configured as either a double or twin room. The two bedrooms on the first floor share a family bathroom with a seperate WC.

Price

The pricing is based on when in the year you are booking. The price includes all utilities , free wifi, bedding and towels (we change these each week) , and an end of stay clean, although we do expect people to leave the house in the same state as when they arrived.

Low Season:- March/April/May/ October 7 days € 630

Mid Season:- June/September 7 Days € 665

High Season:- July /August 7 Days € 700

Winter: - November/December/January/February (Excluding Festive Break 20th December - 2nd January) 7 Nights € 630

Short breaks can be requested and are subject to availibility , however these can be no less than 4 nights.

Location / Village

Siran is a lively village in the heart of the Minervois, and the house is located in the grounds of the Chateau of Siran in the centre of the village. Siran is easily accessible from both Carcassonne and Bezier which both have flights to and from the UK, it is also a 35 minute drive to Nabonne and the coast. The village is well provided with amenities witha small mini-mart , boulangerie and bar/brasserie, these are all within a 2 minute walk of the house. In the summer La Cave also offers food and drink as well as live music. There is much to do in the region/;ocal area from Bike rides, Hiking, Wine tours, Canal du Midi and even caving , you will not be short of things to do.
